Three Types of Crane Services You Can Hire and Use

Crane services is a rather vague and all-encompassing term. There are different kinds of crane services, so it helps to know exactly what kind you are looking for. Then, you can hire or rent crane services for your construction company. The following three kinds of crane services are the ones available most often, either separately, or sometimes grouped together from certain companies.

Crane Rentals

Need a crane for a temporary job? Crane rental companies rent, deliver, and pick up cranes after you have finished using them. Rent a crane of any kind for as long as you need it, and then send it back to the company from which it came. Repeat the process as often as you need a crane and for as long as you do not want to buy a crane of your own for your construction company.

Crane Repairs

Have a crane that is not working properly? Crane repair companies will send a repair technician to your work site or to your office and construction vehicle storage lot to fix your crane(s). These companies can also pick up your broken-down crane and take it to their repair shop to work on it. When the repairs are complete, they can either bring the crane back to you, or you can send your own employees to load the crane onto its transport trailer and bring it back.

Crane Sales

Finally, do you have enough money in your budget to buy a crane? Then you can go straight to the source; a crane sales lot. Here you can buy a used crane or purchase a brand-new crane. Whatever you are looking for in a crane, these sales lots probably have it. If they do not, tell them what you want. They will hunt it down, buy it from another dealer, and then sell it to you. If they have to locate what you want, it does not usually take more than a day or two. You can have your new or used crane in about a week or less. 

A Word on Crane Parts

Crane parts and sales is not typically an actual, stand-alone business. It is often an additional service offered by one of the above services. If you need parts for your crane, consult one of the above services. They may have the parts, or they may know where to get the parts. Then you can get your crane repaired.
